Okay, you want to learn more about WHAT to do with your finished prints. Come to this one-day class with your existing prints. Demos will start at the beginning of the day but you may want to take an OPEN STUDIO ARTWORK DAY or REFRESH ARTWORK DAY if you can't locate your prints. This class will involve demonstrations & instructions.Additionally, there will be discussion and examples of a variety of framing options.

Pre-Requisite: A minimum of a 1 day Beginning Printmaking Workshop with me (6 hrs), or the equivalent. This class is a prerequisite to the ENCAUSTIC COLLAGE class to be offered at a later date.

  • ALL supplies included.

  • A 50% deposit of $97.50 holds your spot. If you prefer to pay in full, contact the studio owner and you will be sent a PayPal request for full payment.

  • The balance is due no later than 3 weeks prior on 10/27/2019

  • Minimum class size 3 students.

  • You will be notified 2 weeks prior if the class is not filled (a rare event).

  • Students will use a handful of different adhesives for applying Encaustic Prints to sample mini substrates (an assortment of heavyweight paper, 5"x7" boards, greeting cards) and then attach one print on an 8"x10" cradled panel with the adhesive technique of your choice.

  • Additional mats and greeting cards available for purchase.

Bring a sack lunch - refrigerator and microwave available.

Afternoon snacks, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, lemon water will be provided.

Wear clothes that can get wax on them. If you wear long sleeves, make sure they can roll up. There are gel mats at each station, but please wear comfortable shoes. Aprons are available, but if you have a favorite that can get wax on it, feel free to bring it.

Time and weather permitting in the early afternoon, we will walk down to the beach (4 blocks and back), get some fresh marine air, and walk back. One patch can be muddy grass, so bring shoes that can handle a bit of messiness.
